New York, Oct 22, 2011 (RainbowNewsLine.com) – Leaders of the emerging economy of Russia have been in talks with many big MNC’s like Nestle, Alcoa, Coca Cola, and British Petroleum etc. The talks have been initiated to ensure more foreign direct investment make its way to Russia. Most global investors made a quiet exit in 2009, when the Russian economy went into a sharp downturn as compared to other emerging nations like Brazil, India and China.

Mr Putin affirmed in the meeting that he knew that most of the companies already had laid plans to invest in the Russian economy. He called the Russian economy as unique for its sustained 7%-8% economic growth before and after the recession while he called himself the most hard working Russian leader since World War-2.

The global giants had some concerns they wanted Mr Putin to address. Most of the multinationals thought that the judicial system in Russia was not fair. There was widespread corruption and use of unfair means by Russian competitors who are billionaires too. They use unfair means and the MNC’s have no recourse in sight. Mr Putin took down these notes and appeared concerned promising the MNC’s a solution to their problems.
