New York, October 12 (RainbowNewsLine.com) – Representatives of the Stand Up Chicago coalition may have been motivated by the Occupy New York movement though the two are not directly influencing each other. Protestors took to the streets on Tuesday and some of them even reached a five star hotel where there were major financial executives present at a conference.

Many protestors paid an astronomically high entry charge to get in to the event. There they were shouting slogans. Some of them turned to asking the millionaire bank executives how they can peacefully sleep at night. However, the bank executives had expected the protestors at the hotel and had decided beforehand not to confront them. The banks realize that there is widespread distrust amongst the public regarding their activities.

Meanwhile, on the road the protests continued with slogans like “Liquidate the Fed”, “Repeal Bush Tax Cuts”, “We are the 99%” and “Save Our Homes, Save Our Schools”. The protestors were of the opinion that the financial industry sits in their very own backyard. It was time the community at large sent them a message regarding their activities which have been causing unemployment, foreclosures and economic turmoil.

The movement is expected to further gain momentum in different parts of the country.
